The Barley Mow is a traditional family run and owned pub situated just off Baker Street
It's one of the oldest pubs in London, and one of the last remaining 'Free Houses' in the centre of the city. Established in 1790 as a meeting place for farmers on their way to market, the walls are steeped in history and we've been serving great beer for over 200 years!
It's not changed much over the centuries, keeping many of it's original features. Famous for our two private 'booths' located directly at the bar, the pub is listed inside and out, and would probably be recognisable today to any passing Edwardian.
We pride ourselves on creating a warm and friendly environment for our punters. Whether you work in the area, are a local resident or just passing through, we're like the local 'country' pub in the heart of one of the world's busiest cities.
We look forward to welcoming you for a pint soon!
