In light of changes to Government restrictions on pub openings,
from Saturday 4th July The Barley Mow will re-open as a takeaway venue, with a limited number of outside seating availiable to begin with.
Assuming all goes well, we will then slowly start to open up the inside of the pub, with social distancing measures in place for both staff and customer safety.
Bare with us, and check back for futher updates.
The Barley Mow is a traditional family run and owned pub situated just off Baker Street
in Marylebone, London.
Established in 1790, it's one of the oldest pubs in London, rumoured to be be the longest standing in Marylebone and one of the last remaining 'Free Houses' in the centre of the city.
It's not changed much over the centuries, keeping many of its original features. Famous for our two private 'booths' located directly at the bar, the pub is listed inside and out, and would probably be recognisable today to any passing Edwardian.
We pride ourselves on creating a warm and friendly environment for our punters. Whether you work in the area, are a local resident or just passing through, we're the local 'country' pub in the heart of one of the world's busiest cities.
We look forward to welcoming you for a pint soon.
